Hope

I don't think there's anything I can say to convey my excitement about the new suits that showed up in my mailbox yesterday. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dawn and Ira at Splish. I almost wore one to work with my new yellow knee-high boots.
I've taken to riding the 5 min down the hill to 6 am masters, swimming about 2500, then riding into town.. and I can still be at my desk by 8 am, working away (see? see how good I'm working right now? I'm going to be employee of the year!) There are moments, brief ones, where some form of glide and rhythm come back in the water. They've yet to last for entire workouts.. but they're showing up more frequently. I'm going to have to find a way to swim everyday now just to wear my new suits!

  1. Oh my goodness. I LOVE IT!! I've been surfing that site for awhile now trying to decide what suit to get :)

A friend of mine met Obama a few weeks ago for working with Lilly Ledbetter. Pretty awesome.

    Happy Swimming!

  12. Uh...Rach, I've got some swimsuit envy, wanna trade suits? You best be bringing a male version of that suit when you come out to SF in June. Looks like you'll have less of a problem going to the pool. BTW, I was wearing my Obama suit and some guy told me I better be careful wearing that suit around because "your ass is going to get slapped" and I was like who would punch me for wearing an Obama suit in San Francisco? He laughed and said that someone would literally spank me on the ass because the suit is so gosh darn cute...well, I am in SF after all. ;o)

  15. Give me a break....what HAS this guy done other than talk fast and win an election???? This is going a bit far, don't you think? The man is NOT a god. I wish this "celebrity hysteria" would go away already.

  16. What has Bon Jovi really done? or Kanye West? But there are t-shirts and posters all over of them. Why can't we just be like any other fan? Obama is all about transparency, maybe others should follow his lead. I got your back Rach.

  19. Anonymous...classic. Isn't that the same name that all people who have respect and credit use...'anonymous?' Truly classic. How can you take anyone seriously that hides behind such a name. And on top of it, they choose to express their opinions on someone else's blog? Get your own blog, and profess this great knowledge to those herds.

Heck, if anyone out there does not get excited about Obama...you gotta ask yourself, do you wanna associate yourself with people who call themselves "anonymous?"

"Honey," that's a good one too. I am sorry, but I can totally picture this guy right now with one screen on porn and the other surfing around to voice his opinion on forums that allow him.

Again Rachel, not that this is what your blog is intended for, but I applaud you for leaving these comments. Feel free to delete mine if you want :)

By the way...who is that guy on your new suit? He looks familiar,

    Roger
